Personal Bio: Saval Foodservice, Maryland’s largest independent broad line foodservice distributor, has named Brian Saval as Vice President of the company. Brian is a fourth generation member of the family business that started 87 years ago. In his new role, he will be responsible for training the sales force, creating new partnerships, and executing the company’s strategic vision.
Saval, 32, joined the family business in 2009 as a sales representative in Baltimore City. In 2013, he changed roles to work in National Sales for Deli Brands of America, the manufacturing subsidiary of Saval Foods Corporation. After learning the ins and outs of the deli manufacturing business, he transitioned back over to Saval Foodservice in 2015 to manage the Baltimore Regional Sales Team, delivering record-breaking growth year after year.
He brings a wealth of experience to the Saval team, having learned the business from his father, President and CEO, Paul Saval. “Brian’s passion for the business, sales accomplishments and leadership qualities have earned him this next step in becoming a senior leader in our organization,” said Paul.
Saval Foodservice is a privately owned family business in Maryland distributing food and non-food related products to hundreds of restaurants and retailers.
